Tie-Breaking Rule: (1) Older candidate ranked higher (age seniority). (2) If DOB also same — earlier 10th passing year gets preference. Merit list is generated trade-wise, unit-wise, and community-wise strictly as per reservation matrix.
How to Apply for RRC SCR Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Step 1: First register on the Government NAPS / RDAT Portal to generate your central apprenticeship registration number. Also ensure your Aadhaar Card (12-digit) is active and linked to your mobile number. Keep a personal Email ID and mobile number ready — all communications will be sent only via these channels.
Step 2: Visit the official SCR portal: scr.onlineregister.org.in OR go to scr.indianrailways.gov.in → About Us → RRC-SCR → Online Act Apprentice Application. Do not use any third-party website.
Step 3: Read the full notification PDF and corrigendum (13/03/2026). Verify your district eligibility, age, 10th % (must be ≥ 50%), and ITI trade match. B.Tech / Diploma holders are not eligible.
Step 4: Prepare scanned images — Passport Photo: JPEG, 100 DPI, 20 KB–50 KB (not older than 3 months, plain background). Signature: JPEG, not in block capitals . Documents (10th Marksheet, ITI Certificate, Caste/EWS/Disability Certificate): JPG or PDF, max 2 MB each. OBC candidates must upload NCL certificate issued on or after 01/04/2025 in Central Govt. format (Annexure B + Self-Declaration Annexure C).
Step 5: Fill in all details accurately — especially 10th aggregate % and ITI % marks , as these directly calculate your merit score. Select your preferred Railway Establishment / Workshop carefully — this choice is locked after submission and cannot be changed.
Step 6: Pay the application fee of ₹ 100/- (General / OBC / EWS) via Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI through the SBI e-Pay gateway. SC / ST / Female / Transgender / PwBD candidates are fully exempted. Ensure payment is completed before 11/04/2026 .
Step 7: After successful payment, the portal generates a unique Registration Number and e-Receipt . Print and preserve both carefully — these are mandatory for Document Verification. .
