The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has released the JNVST Class 6 Phase 2 Admit Card 2026 on March 16, 2026, for the Winter Bound examination scheduled on April 11, 2026. The Phase 1 (Summer Bound) result was declared on March 17, 2026. Candidates appearing for Phase 2 must download their hall ticket immediately from the official portal. Full Fee Waiver for: SC / ST students, All Girl students, Divyang (PwD) students, and BPL family students — no fee charged at any stage.

Important: Candidates must qualify each section independently. High marks in one section cannot compensate for failing another. Correction fluid or overwriting on the OMR sheet will invalidate responses.

Eligibility Criteria & Seat Reservation

Criteria Details
Date of Birth Must fall between May 1, 2014 and July 31, 2016 (both dates inclusive).
Academic Requirement Must be studying in Class V (2025–26 session) in a Government / Govt.-aided / recognized private school. Must have cleared Class III and IV consecutively without repetition.
District Residency Candidate must reside and study in the same district as the targeted JNV. Cross-district applications are not valid.
Rural Quota (75% Seats) 60 out of 80 seats reserved for rural candidates. Must have studied in a notified rural area school throughout Class III, IV, and V.
Urban / Open Seats (25%) 20 out of 80 seats open to both urban and rural candidates on pure merit.
Gender Reservation Minimum one-third (1/3) of total seats reserved for female students.
SC / ST / OBC / Divyang Reserved as per Government of India norms.
Re-attempt Policy No candidate is permitted to appear for JNVST a second time under any circumstances.

How to Download JNVST Class 6 Phase 2 Admit Card 2026?

Step 1: NVS has released the Phase 2 Admit Card on March 16, 2026 . Download your hall ticket well before the exam on April 11, 2026.

Step 2: On the homepage, look for the notification link labeled “Download Admit Cards for Class 6 JNVST (Winter Bound) 2026” and click on it.

Step 3: You will be redirected to the CBSE IT login portal. Enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth exactly as submitted during registration.

Step 4: Solve the CAPTCHA displayed on screen and click Submit / Sign In .

Step 5: Your Admit Card will appear as a PDF. Download and carefully verify all details — Name, Roll Number, Exam Center, Date, and Exam Medium.

Step 6: If any data is incorrect (name, date of birth, exam medium, or category), contact your nearest JNV or regional NVS office before the exam date to get it corrected.

Step 7: Take multiple printouts of the Admit Card. Carry one copy on exam day along with a valid photo ID. Arrive at the center at least 30–45 minutes before the reporting time.

Documents Required for Verification (Selected Candidates)

Birth Certificate Issued by Municipal Corporation / Gram Panchayat. Hospital discharge summaries are not accepted.
Residence / Domicile Certificate Issued by Tehsildar / SDM confirming residence in the same district as the JNV.
Rural Area Certificate Required for rural quota candidates. Issued by Tehsildar / BDO certifying that schools attended in Class III, IV, and V were in a notified rural area.
SC / ST / OBC Certificate Must be issued by a competent revenue authority. OBC candidates must present a Central List certificate — state-specific list alone is not sufficient.
Disability Certificate Required for Divyang candidates. Issued by a recognized Medical Board or Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
Transfer Certificate (TC) Original TC from the school confirming the candidate passed Class V in session 2025–26.
Academic Continuity Proof School records / bonafide certificate confirming study without repetition in the same district for the past two academic years.
